Job Title: Administrative Lead for a Pediatric Dental Office with 3 office locations

Location: San Luis Obispo, Arroyo Grande, Templeton

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $24-$30 per hour dependent on experience

We are a friendly, fast-paced pediatric dental practice dedicated to creating positive dental experiences for children and their families serving San Luis Obispo County at our three locations in San Luis Obispo, Arroyo Grande, and Templeton. Our team is committed to providing exceptional care, and we’re looking for a Administrative Lead who can help us maintain a warm, organized, and efficient environment.

Position Overview:

The Administrative Lead will be the first point of contact for patients and families. This role requires a professional who is organized, personable, and able to manage multiple tasks with ease. You will oversee front office operations, support team workflow, and ensure every family receives top-tier customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

· Greet patients and families with a friendly, welcoming attitude

· Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and patient check-in/check-out

· Oversee front office daily operations and support administrative staff

· Handle phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries with excellent communication skills

· Maintain accurate patient records and assist with insurance verification and billing processes

· Use Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting

· Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth office flow

· Uphold a professional, child-friendly environment

Qualifications:

· Excellent customer service and communication skills

· Strong ability to multitask in a busy environment

· A positive, team-oriented mindset

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

· Dental office experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate

· Prior administrative or front desk experience preferred
