Description We are seeking a dedicated, organized Data Entry Specialist to help our team with data entry tasks. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy of our databases and create a reliable, consistent method for entering data into our computer systems.Responsibilities:
Retrieve and import data from various formats into the computer system.
Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry.
Verify the accuracy of the data before entry and compare it with existing records.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and security awareness with all sensitive information.
Conduct regular backup and system checks to ensure data preservation.
Complete tasks in a time-bound manner and report any difficulties or discrepancies to the supervisor.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or similar position.
Fast typing skills with excellent knowledge of touch typing systems.
Proficiency in relevant data entry software.
Must have high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset.
