We are seeking a seasoned and registered Lacerte Tax Preparer to join our team. As a Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for assisting clients in preparing and filing their tax returns accurately and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in finance and accounting who enjoys working with numbers and providing excellent customer service. Bring a copy of your PTIN to your interview along with your resume. This is a part-time and seasonal position enabling you to enjoy other activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and e-file tax returns for both partnerships and individuals using Lacerte. Must have your own PTIN
-Review financial documents, such as income statements, W2, 1099's, and expense reports to determine tax liability.
- Identify potential deductions, credits, and exemptions to minimize tax liability.
