We are a wonderful organization that provides education and training to/for adults with developmental disabilities.

We are seeking a qualified and dynamic Adult Day Program Manager focused on delivering the highest quality programming and personal care for clients we serve.

Under the indirect supervision of the Regional Director and Executive Management Team the Program Manager will plan, direct and coordinate a multidisciplinary day program for adults with developmental disabilities and related impairments.

Primary Job Duties include:

Ensure our name and image is held in the highest light through effective program management and delegation.

Ensure enrollment and ADA are maintained at the level defined in budget (minimum 92% ADA and 92% eligible participants).

Thorough understanding of and compliance with all applicable regulations under Title 17 & 22.

Serve as lead member of the program team; schedule and facilitate team meetings to develop consumer ISP plans and goals, and review progress towards meeting goals.

Work with staff to develop individual ISP plans and program curriculum that meets the needs of consumers.

Coordinate program schedule to ensure consumers can participate in all activities identified in their ISP

Schedule and conduct meetings with staff and family members to discuss issues related to ISP plans, goals, and outcomes.

Instruct consumers in small groups in the performance of specific activities.

Work with individual consumers to assist with acquisition of specific skills and abilities.

Serve as a lead trainer for all new staff members and provide ongoing training as needed to ensure compliance

Ensure the staff team is trained in workplace safety and are familiar with the safety and health hazards as well as applicable laws, regulations and our safety rules and policies.

Ensure that employees are trained in accordance with the Safety Program.

Inspect, recognize, and evaluate workplace hazards on a continuing basis.

Develop methods for abating workplace hazards.

Ensure that workplace hazards are abated in a timely and effective manner.

Provide exceptional customer services, both internally and externally.

Program Planning, Management and Evaluation:

Identify barriers to program success; identify and carry out logical steps to overcome barriers.

Monitor program to ensure compliance with state regulations required for licensing and maintain current knowledge of standards and revisions to regulations.

Work with the Management Team to establish and monitor annual program goals and objectives.

Review and submit requests for supplies, equipment, petty cash expenditures and other purchases to Management Team.

Ensure staff completion and timely submission of all required documentation.

Supervision:

Provide direct and indirect supervision of staff.

Interview, orient and provide on-going training to staff.

Develop and following through on staff performance appraisals in accordance with schedule.

Ensure that staff are acting in compliance with CCL regulations governing the program.

Public Relations:

Provide tours as needed to prospective consumers and their Support Network

Give public presentations and market the program and services as appropriate.

Assist staff, representatives of other agencies and general community to understand the issues related to persons with Developmental Disabilities.

Serve as consumer advocate.

Education and Experience:

A BA or BS is preferred, and will be weighted accordingly, but is not required.

One (1) year of successful experience in a responsible managerial, administrative or supervisory position in a social program or health care service agency serving individuals with developmental disabilities and/or a related field is preferred, and will be weighed accordingly, but is not required.

Starting schedule is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, in between the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Benefits are available after 90 days for full time employees. This position is hourly with an evaluation after the 90-day probationary period.
