Note: This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 3 months with a 40-hour work week. M-F 7AM-3:30PM
We are a local Electrical Contractor looking for the right candidate to fill a temporary HR position. We are looking for someone with HR experience. Must be organized, self-motivated, comfortable speaking in groups, and efficient on computers.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Managing job postings, conducting interviews, and hiring.
Prepare new hire paperwork and provide orientation.
Handle employee, applicant and supervisor related inquiries. MUST be able to properly document all issues or situations for record keeping.
Maintain and enforce office policies, process disciplinary actions when necessary.
Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and local law regulations. Keep all required notices, manuals, and policies up to date.
Employee engagement- provide support to employees with any issues or concerns.
Perform employee assessments.
Plan, manage and enforce training schedules.
Complete the appropriate paperwork and process for terminations.
