We are seeking a skilled Carpenter / Laborer / Assistant Superintendent to join our construction team. This multifaceted role involves hands-on carpentry work, supporting project management, and supervising site activities to ensure efficient and high-quality project delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction, strong organizational skills, and be effective at working with people as part of a team.
This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to support successful project execution.
This job could lead to a full-time superintendent role within the company.
Responsibilities
Ensure the project is opened and closed during construction hours
Perform masonry tasks, forming concrete, checking grades, and finishing concrete.
Perform carpentry tasks, including framing, finishing
Perform drywall tasks,
Perform demolition tasks
Organizing and working with site workers to clean the site.
Ensuring safety protocols are followed
Support project managers and superintendents with scheduling, coordination, and quality control measures.
Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical documents accurately. Using lasers and chalk lines to assist in layout
Supervise subcontractors and laborers on-site to maintain workflow efficiency and safety compliance.
Ensure all work adheres to safety standards, quality requirements, and client specifications.
