The ideal candidate will manage inventory, support the efficient operation of the warehouse, and ensure all goods are accurately stored and shipped. This role involves physical tasks, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with other team members to meet operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials and products
Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure safe operation
Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times
Assist with organizing and staging materials in the warehouse or yard
Perform basic maintenance and report any equipment issues
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation when required
Requirements:
Must have valid forklift certification
Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience (sit-down, stand-up, or both)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to safety and detail
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
Requires standing, lifting, and moving for extended periods.
