We solve significant customer problems in the consumer electronics space through devices, mobile applications, cloud services (AWS), computer vision, and machine learning.Key job responsibilitiesAs a Software Development Engineer on this team, you will define and build highly scalable cloud services enabling innovative product experiences with a direct impact on the design, architecture, and implementation for our partners and customers.A day in the lifeYou will get to work directly with both Product and Business Development team to design APIs and services for our partners. As a member of the Partner Services team, you'll learn a lot of new technologies and get a lot of technical ownership, writing design docs, and owning the technical delivery of major services in Amazon Health & Wellness program. About the teamThe Partner Service team develops public facing APIs and services that enable our partners exchange data with Amazon Health & Wellness program.Out team holds a rare opportunity in an emerging space that is shaping the future of the industry. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 1+ years of experience in software development
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years delivering production code in an object-oriented language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript (Node.js)
- Knowledge of data structures & algorithms.
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience designing and delivering mobile applications (Android or iOS) or REST-based services.
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
- Demonstrated abilities driving operational excellence and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment.
