Touch HW Validation Engineer

Sunnyvale CA 12 months Working with a group of engineers in display and touch fields in developing touch hardware for client products.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform hands-on testing/characterization on key touch parameter validation for developing products.
  • Implement in-house characterization and testing capabilities/methodologies where needed
  • Generate documentation on test report, methodology, and plan.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in software development for data analysis and equipment control.
  • Familiar with electrical lab equipment for touch testing
  • Proficient in data visualization and statistical analysis tools such as SpotFire, JMP, or Matlab
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and solid teamwork skills are essential.
  • Proficient in test automation scripting such as Python, PERL, Shell, C, LabView or similar
  • Strong electrical engineering background in mixed-signal testing methodologies

Desired Skills:
  • Ability to perform failure analysis using scientific method and experimental process
  • Background with Touch or Sensing Technology is preferred
  • Experience in firmware development (knowledge of I2C, SPI, and other protocols) in data acquisition & measurement system is preferred

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in EE / CE / CS
