You will be expected to analyze data to draw conclusions, conduct sensor characterization studies, and drive failure analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Reliability Engineering and Process Engineering to deliver state-of-the-art sensing solutions.Drive failure analysis, run experiments to find root cause and mitigations with guidance from senior members in team Conduct sensor characterization studies to measure actual performance against expectation across a variety of conditions and environments Write characterization and failure analysis reports, and present conclusions to the teamEducation and Experience:Degree in Optics, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent. B.S./M.S. with industry experience preferred.Qualifications:Hands-on working knowledge in electrical engineering and optics, including typical EE lab equipment such as DMMs and oscilloscopes. Experience with operating optical microscopes is a plus.Basic data analysis and visualization skills, for example: Matlab, Python, or JMP Basic laboratory automation and data acquisition scripting skills Excellent technical communication skills Experience with failure analysis is a plusLocation: Sunnyvale, CADuration: 12+ Months
