Description Junior Staff AccountantJob Type: Full-TimeExperience: 1-3 YearsEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or FinanceOverview:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience and hold a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development.Responsibilities:Accounts Receivable (AR):
Generate and send out invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger.
Accounts Payable (AP):
Process vendor invoices and issue payments.
Verify discrepancies and resolve issues with vendors.
Journal Entries:
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Ensure accuracy in journal entries and adherence to accounting principles.
Bank Reconciliations:
Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Monitor and manage cash balances.
Month-End Close:
Assist in the month-end close process.
Prepare various financial reports and statements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
1-3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
Proficient in relevant accounting software.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
