Join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell [SBG]. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will be involved in every aspect of the systems life cycle; from the front end of business development through product end of life.The Senior Advanced System Engineering role will be responsible for the analysis, design and development of advanced Heat Transfer products. The product line includes plate/fin and tubular Heat Exchangers, water separators, ozone converters and cold plates. You will generate performance analyses for new and existing heat exchanger designs. You will develop size and key design parameters of heat transfer products for new applications.Key Responsibilities:The design, development and qualification of Heat Exchangers which meet customer and internal requirements.
Identify problems and update or modify working methods in own role with and without the benefit of defined procedures
Identifying and resolving design problems of performance, strength, weight, material selection and finishes.
Identifying and incorporating best practices for product design.
Implementing development and qualification test objectives, writing test procedures, and overseeing the preparation of test units and the conduct of tests.
Reducing performance test data, preparing test reports
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
6 years of product development in mechanical equipment experience preferably Heat Transfer.
