We are looking for a hardworking, motivated, and skilled individual to join our legal team as a lawyer. This unique and complex role involves both production and acquisition work, so we are looking for someone who can manage a wide variety of tasks with different complexities and different priorities with minimal supervision.  Here you can:  Negotiate and draft acquisition, development, and production agreements Analyze and interpret a variety of contracts to provide legal advice on potential risks and issues Handle all legal matters during production, including but not limited to evaluating rights and chain of title issues, clearance matters, guild issues, advertising, promotion, and publicity issues Collaborate with key company departments across Focus and Universal, including Creative, Business, Production, Finance, Labor and Employment, Marketing, Promotions, Insurance and Tax Support special projects as needed
