Role and Responsibilities: As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing our accounts receivable processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Issuing accurate and timely invoices to customers.

Recording and reconciling payments received.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and submission of required documents for billing.

Following up on outstanding balances and conducting collections activities.

Creates presentation documents for orders covered by Letters of Credit.

Resolving payment discrepancies and addressing customer queries.

Reviewing customer agreements, ensuring accuracy, and adhering to company policies.

Verifying and recording discounts and mark downs taken by customers.

Analyzing accounts receivable data and generating reports.

Contributing to process improvements and enhancing efficiency within the AR department.

Maintaining meticulous records of all customer-related transactions.

Requirements: To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar finance role.

Solid understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and data integrity.

Proficiency in using QuickBooks accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and database management tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Prior experience in Retail Business AR setting is a plus.
