Summary
Hangwall Assembler plays a key role in hanging window and door frames, panels, and other components for proper functioning and according to blueprints and instructions, using hand and power tools.
Essential Functions
Moves steel door and window systems into position
Operates hand and power tools for cutting, shaping and fitting materials
Inspects assembled units for defects and ensures they meet customer specifications
Makes minor adjustments and repair to assembled products
Maintains a clean and organized area and ensures safe working practices
Competencies
Technical Capacity – Proficient use of hand tools, safe and efficient lifting techniques, and the ability to utilize transit, level, and measuring tape.
Attention to Detail – Accurate in following instructions and ensuring quality controls.
Problem Solving/Analysis – Ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly challenges effectively.
