Our busy, very well-established auto repair shop in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking another skilled A-Level Automotive Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for mechanics capable of diagnosing and troubleshooting "CHECK ENGINE" "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" lights. Also must be able to diagnose cars with failed smogs and be willing to do some general mechanic work like brakes, flushes, etc.
Needs to know how to replace parts, perform basic mechanic services and take instructions from the lead mechanic. Must be able to remove and install parts on general cars. Know how to do oil change/brake job/tune up/tire rotation.
Strong working knowledge of diagnostic systems, methods, testing equipment, tools, etc
ASE certifications are a plus, but not required
Full set of tools (we provide all specialty equipment)
Valid Driver’s License
Needs to speak fluent English and know how to work a computer
