1st ShiftProvide instruction and guidance to employees and audit work processes and products to confirm production specifications are met. Maintain positive and effective relationships with employees.  Direct employees to the appropriate manager regarding policy questions.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standard, policies and procedures. Report any problems, potential problems, hazardous situations to managementInspect products and/or shipments to verify conformance to specificationsReview and approve machine set ups, production samples, and/or shipments as necessaryIdentify and report opportunities for continual improvementWhen necessary, attend production meetings and/or confer with other departments to coordinate production activitiesCoordinate or perform training for new employees, contract workers, and/or guests to ensure safety, quality, and production requirements are understood.Ensure the “Quality Policy and Objectives” are understood and achievedQualityMonitors quality counseling guidelines to ensure shift managers are current with any            positive counseling as needed.Follows inspection checklist and records any identified defects.Follow established quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure product           meets quality conformance specified by the customer.Perform visual inspection of printed materials for defects, such as loose, torn, or           wrinkled pages, missing staples, incorrect bindings, printing defects, etc.Perform “samples” selection and package for shipment.Identify potential issues and involve department Lead and/or management to            determine an appropriate solution.May assist with disposition of defective or non-conforming product.Work closely with the Sales Rep and CSR on any customer issues.CQTHandle any customer complaintsIssue credit on bad product, credit and rebill job that has been billed wrong.Issue call tags on product that need to be inspected to determine if there is an issue with the finished product. EQT RelianceEnter Corrective Action (CAPA)Make sure all employees are completing Employee Training.Ensuring that all SOP’s are up to date.  ShippingCreate orders to ship in WCSSKey ship in WBSShip LTL & TL truck shipmentsUber Freight PortalUPS Freight LineShip UPS and FEDEXAdjust in transit inventory  VaultReceive and ship jobsCycle countingInventory  PurchasingAllocate paper to jobs to move to productionInventory for purchasing, tape, film wrap, stitch wire, transfer tape carton tape.
