2026 Farm Crew!

Colorado, Boulder, 80301 Boulder USA
Apply Now

Crooked Roots Farm is hiring for the 2026 season! Full and part-time positions available. Duties include planting, weeding, cultivating, harvesting, washing, and sorting a variety of organic vegetable and flower crops, light animal care (pigs, chickens, and sheep), CSA and farm stand distribution, and farmer’s market help on weekends. Bonus points if you have experience with (or are willing to learn) haymaking, flood irrigation, and on-farm poultry processing. You get to wear many hats on our small farm! Candidates must be able to perform physical work outside in all weather conditions and lift 50+ pounds repeatedly. A positive attitude, great attention to detail, superb communication skills, a hardworking attitude, and a passion for local food are critical to ensuring a happy and efficient team dynamic during the grueling summer months (and all year round!). Farm experience is preferred but not required. Some kind of outdoor and/or physical labor experience is required. Competitive pay for experienced farmers!

At Crooked Roots, we are committed to happy people, happy animals, and a happy Earth. We practice regenerative grazing with our sheep, rotate our chickens on fresh pasture, use 100% organic practices for our veggies and animals (although we are not certified), and are transitioning to a no-till system in the veggie field. Taking care of our people is just as important to us as taking care of our land and critters. We strive to maintain a positive and supportive work environment where all voices are heard and respected, make space to take care of our minds and bodies, and love to share a laugh over a bed of greens. We believe we can create a big impact on our small farm and hope you will join us in our mission to produce great food, be responsible stewards of the land, and have fun doing it!

To apply, please send your resume along with an introductory message that lets us know who you are and why you’d like to work with us to oxfordfarmsboulder@gmail.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
