Sr. Network Engineer

NBCUniversal’s Operations & Technology organization has an opening for a Senior Network Engineer.The Senior Network Engineer will work within a dedicated team of Network architects and engineers tasked with rethinking NBC’s global edge and campus network infrastructure. The selected candidate will define and implement NBCUniversal’s NextGen Network according to standard and best practices, working closely with partners and stakeholders to gather requirements and derive possible solutions. The candidate will also serve as a technical resource, providing guidance and advice to other Operations & Technology teams and participating in on-call support escalation rotation.What We’re Looking For In a Candidate· Excellent systematic problem-solving approach, with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.· Strong written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to articulate security objectives to a variety of audiences.· Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and to communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
