Description Robert Half is searching for an Accounting Clerk to join our client's team on a temporary basis and would be responsible for performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. The duties include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements.Key Responsibilities:
Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements.
Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
Daily data entry of financial transactions in the database.
Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
Research, track, and resolve accounting issues or discrepancies.
Maintain orderliness, security, and efficiency of financial-related data.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven accounting experience.
Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks.
Diploma or an associate degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field.
