Skyline Products has designed and manufactured sign solutions for the transportation and petroleum industries for more than 40 years! During these difficult times, we are still hiring! We are an essential business and we are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder for our day shift .Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. This position pays $20-$24 an hour. Summary A Skyline Welder, lays out, fits, and welds/fabricates steel components to assemble structural forms. You do not need to be certified to weld, however, you must pass a weld test, and be extremely accurate in reading a tape measure. Work experience in steel MIG welding required. Job Duties:
Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding
Lay out, positions, aligns, and fits components together
Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding
Sets up equipment and welds parts, using MIG welding processes
Assembles parts by bolting and riveting
Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
1 year of professional welding experience.
MIG steel welding experience.
Must pass a weld test, background check, and drug te st.
Regularly performs tasks that will require heavy lifting, carrying and moving materials weighing 50 – 100 lbs. or more off the ground, up and overhead
