Lead Electrician (1099) – Commercial Projects

ACJ Electric is looking for an experienced Lead Electrician (1099) to start immediately on a commercial restaurant build-out. This is a lead role, not helper or apprentice work.
We have additional commercial projects in the pipeline, and for any downtime between commercial jobs, there is consistent work available through our sister company focused on residential and solar installations.

What We’re Looking For
This role is for someone who can run work, not just pull wire.
You should have strong experience in commercial electrical, including:
Running commercial projects independently
Reading and executing plans, one-lines, and specs
Installing large electrical services
Working with large conduit (EMT/RMC) and large wire pulls
Commercial panelboards, switchgear, and service equipment
Lighting systems and lighting controls
Understanding and applying commercial NEC code
Coordinating with inspectors, GC’s, and other trades
Leading helpers/apprentices efficiently on site

Requirements
Journeyman or higher-level experience
Own basic hand tools
Reliable transportation
Professional communication and jobsite conduct
Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the field
Must be able to pass inspections
