Qualifications
Computer skills, preferably a knowledge in dental office software, knowledge in insurance benefits verification, but not necessary.
Excellent customer service skills (telephone and interpersonal)
Motivation to ensure follow-through regarding billing and office tasks
Ability to multi-task, be extremely organized and detail oriented
Ability to learn and adapt to changing technologies
Must be reliable, trustworthy, outgoing, with a positive demeanor
Superior inter-personal skills (verbal & non-verbal), effective problem solving and decision-making skills
Prior dental front office experience preferred, but not necessary. We will teach you!
Must be available to work 4-5 days a week
Responsibilities
Responsible for the day-to-day administrative activities of the office
These responsibilities may include welcoming patients and visitors to the practice, patient scheduling and patient management
Welcome/checkin patients, review treatment they're coming in for today
Answer phones/schedule patients
Provide superior patient services, responding with sensitivity to patient needs while building relationships with patients
Ensure office is scheduled with confirmed patients achieving established patient show rate
Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments
Keep patient appointments on schedule by promptly greeting patients as they come in
Ensure patients leaving the office are informed about their upcoming appointment and information they may need to bring to their next appointment
Optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person when possible
Answer incoming patient calls, voicemails, and emails
Maintain secure and confidential patient records in accordance with HIPPA privacy regulations
Complete required trainings as assigned
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
