Teach Pottery and Ceramic WorkShops To Kids in Aftercare Enrichment Programs in North West Jeffco Elementary Schools.
These ENERGETIC, CREATIVE and FUN WorkShops start after school. The teaching of classes is 1 hour with 1 hour paid set-up and clean-up. Workshops run Monday through Friday. We are looking for Creative Energetic Fun Instructors to teach from 1 to 4 or more workshops per week. We require at least a one semester commitment.
Applicants must have a reliable car and preferably live in or near North West Jeffco.
Creative Workshops' Programs are highly regarded by schools, parents and community for their excellent quality. Every class and project has an imaginative connection to science, non-sense science (Aliens and Dragons), nature, or culture. Creative skills are expanded upon with each workshop. THE KIDS LOVE IT.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
All applicants must be punctual and reliable and able to timely respond to communications.
Able to pass the standard criminal background check.
Have your own reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance
Attend and complete WorkShop Orientation
APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE:
o Ability to work on your own as well as team teach
o Experience with kids and teaching
o Ability to harmoniously work within the schools requirements
o Experience with ART
o Enjoy working with and inspiring a group of creatively energized Kids
o EXPERIENCE WITH CLAY- The basic and simple clay hand building techniques are used in the WorkShops.
SCHEDULE
o Mon -Thursday - Immediately after-school-hour
o The number of workshops per week depends on availability and your schedule.
o This is a part-time job
BASE PAY STARTS at $20.00 to $25.00 per hour (DOE) Plus VERY GENEROUS Enrollment BONOSUS and Travel Compensation
