Utilize a full range of human-computer interaction, human factors, product design, and computer visual design skills to design software and/or mobile products and features.
Apply design principles to create work product workflows, proof of concepts, and frameworks.
Determine the size and arrangement of illustrative design mockups and select the style and type of design, including the interfaces between users and technology.
Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar of quality.
Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers and content strategists to oversee the user experience of a product from conception to launch.
Design and review product prototypes, mockups and wireframes for the next generation of Meta products.
Participate in design reviews and determine design strategies to make Meta’s products more interactive, aesthetic and user friendly.
Conduct research into current design trends and user-experience concepts in order to develop design modifications and revisions that better enhance the user experience and make our interfaces and products easier to use.

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Web Design, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Industrial Engineering, or closely-related field and 2 years of work experience in job offered or in a product design or graphics design-related occupation. Experience must include 24 months of experience in each of the following:
Creating interaction design products and projects in related fields, such as graphic design, typography, or industrial design
Producing high resolution designs using Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator or equivalent design software
Prototyping interactive designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Flash, Quartz Composer, or similar technologies
Understanding of type, hierarchy, color, composition, contrast, and other graphic design fundamentals
End-to-end iterative design process, from the start of a project to completion, with clear rationale going from step-to-step and examples of early information architecture and wireframes
Evaluating design tradeoffs using various sources of quantitative and/or qualitative data
Brand and identity work, for example logo explorations, branding guidelines, visual standards, and marketing pages
Ability to articulate reasons for design decisions by explaining other alternatives and corresponding trade-offs
