Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Lifecycle Marketing, this role will lead the unification of TNF communication channels including online advertising, email, SMS, push, app messaging, personalization, and journey orchestration. Strong omni-channel strategic and technical expertise with hands on ESP experience, Salesforce Journey Builder experience, and partnering with cross-functional teams; Digital Technology, Site Operation, CDP, Analytics, and Creative are essential to success in this highly visible role.Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.
Strategize and plan Journey roadmap and campaign details (back and front end) that align with business objectives and goals.
Project manage Journey work including creative briefing, segmentation planning and data integrations.
Build, QA, and launch Journeys in SFMC Journey Builder (including Ad Studio) and Bluecore.
Regularly analyze and report on Journey and campaign performance via SFMC and Google Analytics to understand customer engagement and incrementality and recommend/implement optimizations based on learnings and business objectives.
Work alongside the Loyalty team as the executioner of Loyalty comms related to members rewards.
Partner closely with many cross functional teams, including Brand, Loyalty, Creative, CRM/CDP, Digital Technology, Ecom & App Ops.
Work closely with Salesforce, CDP, and VF on best practices and maintaining data integrations.
Act as a liaison from the brand to the larger VF enterprise and sister brands, working in similar spaces.
Be a true expert in your field, with the technical knowledge necessary to ensure success.
What do you need to succeed?We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 5+ years of experience and professional achievements.The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
3+ years in a hands-on role leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Builder, or similar ESP journey platform for building behavior based, personalized campaigns. 2+ years’ omni-channel marketing experience, including Loyalty.
Experience writing AMPscript or similar personalization script to accomplish data and customization goals within Salesforce Journey Builder.
Experience implementing journeys across both paid and owned channels required.
Experience with CRM/CDP required.
Marketing Cloud Administrator Certification preferred.
Experience with agile/scrum methodologies.
Technology experience with onsite personalization preferred.
Familiarity with HTML and dynamic content coding preferred.
Adept at standard marketing metrics and reporting.
A rigorous attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.
Understanding and application of digital best practices.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver a consistently high standard of work—all while meeting deadlines.
Genuine passion for the outdoors a bonus.
