Live-In Caregiver Needed for Male Quadriplegic
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable live-in caregiver to provide essential support for a male quadriplegic in need of general care. The role involves a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Personal Care: Assist with daily personal care routines, ensuring comfort and dignity.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Light Housekeeping: Help maintain a clean and organized living space.
- Overnight Check-Ins: Ensure safety and well-being during overnight hours.
- Fill-In Shifts: Provide coverage for call-offs and shift changes as needed.
- Transportation: Assist with appointments, errands, and outings as required.
Requirements:
- Prior caregiving experience preferred.
- Care for one dog and one cat - consider applying if you have allergies.
- Ability to assist with mobility and transfers using a Hoyer lift.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
- Valid driver's license preferred for transportation duties.
