The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and overseeing safety protocols, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The Construction Safety Manager will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to promote a culture of safety and minimize risks on construction sites.Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures for construction sitesConduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulationsProvide safety training and education to employees and subcontractorsInvestigate accidents and near misses, and develop corrective action plans to prevent future incidentsReview project plans and specifications to identify potential safety concernsCollaborate with project teams to develop and implement site-specific safety plansMaintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reportsStay up-to-date on changes to safety regulations and industry best practicesRequirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction safety managementStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesExperience with incident investigation and root cause analysisProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant softwarePreferred:Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or related fieldCertified Safety Professional (CSP) or other relevant certificationsBilingual Apply now in 2 minutes!
