A small Denver-based retail jewelry business seeks a sophisticated, high-energy, super-organized, detail-oriented, poised, multi-tasking Administrative & Sales Assistant with strong interpersonal and computer skills in an always-evolving, fast-moving environment. This person will be responsible for nurturing new and current customers in our retail shop and helping with many back-end tasks, such as managing inventory, cleaning the store, and managing a few consignment accounts. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, good computer skills, travel by car, flexibility, and business casual attire. This individual must be honest and trustworthy, have a lot of flexibility as the schedule changes from season to season, be dependable, detail-oriented, responsible, and accountable, and have a strong desire to get along with others. This business is a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment with extensive learning and growth potential in a small accessories fashion business. This growing position offers an opportunity for growth and additional hours.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Sales: In-store and at off-site events

2. Oversee, coordinate, set-up/break down, and work the following events: trunk shows at wholesale accounts, holiday multi-day event(s), and outdoor/indoor events for permanent jewelry.

3. Shipping online orders.

4. Inventory: tagging, organizing, merchandising in store.

5. Managing consignment accounts: This involves performing inventory checks, visiting stores in person to merchandise, fill in jewelry and liaise with their staff.

6. Learn to weld permanent jewelry through extensive training.

7. Cleaning the shop: displays, mirrors, shelves, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning store windows, etc.

8. Running errands locally from time to time.

9. Administrative support: Enter customer sales orders, maintenance of customer database, etc.

10. Adding inventory to the website (this doesn't require a technical background, but you must be comfortable and savvy using a computer)

11. Not necessary, but a bonus: taking photographs and videos of content for our social media manager

12. Other duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Education Requirement:

High School degree or equivalent in experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience with Microsoft Office. Good computer skills. Excellent phone etiquette and people skills. Ability to work as part of a team and work independently. At least two years experience working in a sales or customer service environment. Innovative ideas and thinking outside the box to increase revenue.

Environment:

You will be working in a general office environment with regular office and retail noise. You must work well with others in a small and fast-paced environment.

Driving:

Vehicle required with valid driver's License and proof of active insurance coverage.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Ability to lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds. Ability to travel by car. Ability to set up and break down a large tent and set up for an outdoor event.

Compensation:

This is a part-time (15-20 hours per week position with additional hours necessary with plenty of notice)

Hourly (depending on experience) + commissions for events and bonuses for referring custom clients to our designers.
