What You’ll Do
- Lead Field Operations: Manage day-to-day activities on concrete polishing projects, ensuring top-quality results and efficient job execution.
- Operate Equipment: Safely and skillfully run grinders, polishers, and other surface prep equipment to achieve the desired finish and sheen.
- Set the Standard: Oversee surface preparation, densifier/sealer application, and polishing steps to meet 5280 Floors’ quality standards.
- Train and Supervise: Lead and mentor polishing crew members, ensuring consistent performance, safety, and teamwork.
- Coordinate Projects: Work closely with project managers and field teams to meet deadlines, communicate job progress, and troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Maintain Equipment & Job Sites: Ensure tools are maintained and job sites are kept organized, clean, and safe.
- Deliver Excellence: Represent 5280 Floors with professionalism and pride, providing a positive experience for clients and coworkers alike.
Who You Are
- Experienced in concrete polishing (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Knowledgeable about diamond tooling, concrete coatings, and polishing systems.
- Able to read and follow project specifications and drawings.
- Physically capable of performing labor-intensive work and lifting up to 50 lbs.
