Job Description:
The Cutter Operator is responsible for day to day cutting of large format digital printed materials. Cutting includes blade cut and routing of various substrates. Each job is unique and attention to the instructions on the job ticket is imperative. Switching between materials, and therefore blades and bits, is common throughout the shift. Staying organized and a close eye on quality keeps production flowing. This position may be required to help in other departments from printing to shipping depending on the project. Some materials are large and may be heavy requiring the help of a second person. The area needs to be kept as a clean and safe work area.

Skills Needed:
Previous experience on a Kongsberg, Zund, Gerber etc. cutting table
Knowledge of Digital Printing is a huge benefit in this postion
Mechanically inclined
Attention to detail and quality
Knowledge of various material substrates - both rigid and roll stock
Able to read and measure using a tape measure
Knowledge of printing equipment and the ability to provide minor Maintenance work when needed is a massive plus!
Required Abilities:
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must understand basic math
Must have a good eye for detail
Must be able to use a computer and cutting programs
Must have good problem-solving skills
Must be able to lift up to 50#’s
Must be able to work well with others

Hours:
Full Time. 8 Hour Shift, Monday through Friday, Occasional weekday overtime.
