We are seeking a foreman with 5+ years of commercial experience in frames, doors and hardware installation.
Responsibilities:
Ability to communicate with all roles (internal/external/suppliers/manufacturer tech services)
Exceptional understanding of overall scope of work
Ability to plan ahead
Excellent problem solver
Provide instructions and delegate work to crews
Recognize and start solution process
Demonstrates effective listening skills
Ability to resolve conflicts
Read plans, evaluations and drawings with complete understanding
Manage and delegate task with appropriate personnel
Understand project schedule and productivity
Create Pre-Task Plan for the entire job
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will:
Manage and oversee the creation of all Pre-task planning for the crew
Read and understand drawings
Read and understand Hardware Schedules and Door Schedules
Understand Schedules and how to accomplish a 2 week look ahead.
Ability to recognize and train crew member as needed
Knowledge of current industry standards
Experience installing doors, frames and hardware
Oversee the sign-in and sign-out sheet for payroll/Entering time
Computer Skills (Procore, Blue Beam, BIM 360, Plan-Grid, Excel, Outlook, Box)
OSHA certified
Forklift Certified
Productivity Tracking Management
Ability to execute an action plan
Understand man loading process for production
Coordinate with other trades
Ability to meet deadlines & effectively communicate and delegate to the team
