We are seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber and a plumber apprentice to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance within commercial and residential construction environments. This role requires a professional with strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber will be responsible for ensuring all plumbing systems are installed, maintained, and repaired according to industry standards and safety regulations. This is a Sub-contract position will be 1099.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in new construction, remodeling, and renovation projects.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts.

Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble piping systems.

Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites.

Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC to ensure seamless project completion.

Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

Adhere to safety protocols and building codes throughout all phases of work.

Assist in remodeling projects by installing fixtures, piping, and related components.

Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

Valid Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license with relevant state certification.

Proven experience in construction plumbing, site work, or remodeling projects.

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding, and schematics reading.

Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on construction sites for extended periods.

Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and layout.

Experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings.

Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and plumbing regulations.

Construction site experience with familiarity in remodeling or commercial projects is a plus.

Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or site access is advantageous.
