Sr. Accountant

Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry located in FORT COLLINS, Colorado. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be expected to carry out several accounting tasks, such as account reconciliation and general ledger maintenance, in a highly organized and detail-oriented manner. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Carry out account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to maintain financial integrity Perform bank reconciliations as part of financial control measures Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial tracking Record journal entries as part of the accounting process Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reporting Manage multi-state payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments Oversee job costing to ensure financial efficiency Utilize Viewpoint Spectrum for various accounting tasks. Requirements Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience within the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry Strong skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations Proficient in maintaining and managing the General Ledger Capable of creating and managing Journal Entries Demonstrated expertise in using Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks Experience in managing Multi-state Payroll Familiarity with Job Costing within the industry Knowledge and experience with Viewpoint Spectrum software.
