Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles in our fleet, ensuring they are safe and operational.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in fleet vehicles.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
- Complete service reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete repairs efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Fleet Mechanic or similar role.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, brake repair, tire service, air brakes, and soldering.
- Experience working with dealership vehicles and tractor-trailers is a plus.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively to perform repairs.
- Strong customer service skills to interact with drivers and fleet managers effectively.
