We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support our attorneys in providing exceptional legal services to our clients. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our firm and involves a variety of tasks that require strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.

Manage case files, prepare medical record and bill summaries, maintain accurate records and documentation.

Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel to facilitate case progress.

Schedule appointments, hearings, and depositions.

Prepare and file documents with the court, ensuring compliance with deadlines and procedures.

Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing trial binders.

Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in paralegal studies or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in a law firm setting.

Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

High level of integrity and professionalism.
