Execute category sourcing strategies, including RFX development, supplier selection, and negotiations.
Lead freight bids for ocean and air using industry tools.
Streamline business processes and leverage market trends to inform decision-making.
Develop negotiation strategies, lead cross-functional negotiation teams, and conduct direct supplier negotiations.
Identify and manage sourcing projects using spend data and business insights.
Ensure category performance meets savings targets and business objectives.
Present business cases and cost savings proposals for approval.
Maintain compliance with purchasing, legal, financial, and regulatory requirements.
Adhere to global procurement policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s preferred.
Minimum 8 years of procurement or category management experience, ideally within multinational contexts.
Proficient in logistics, sourcing, contract terms, and category management.
Proven track record in RFx development, supplier negotiation, and achieving cost savings.
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Preferred Certifications
CPSM, CPM, CPP, CPIM, or equivalent is a plus.
