Responsibilities:
- Warmly welcome guests, creating a hospitable and inviting atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Provide attentive and personalized service, guiding guests through their dining experience with professionalism and grace.
- Utilize your extensive knowledge of our menu and wine offerings to make recommendations and enhance the overall dining experience.
- Take accurate orders and communicate them promptly and clearly to the kitchen staff, ensuring seamless coordination.
- Present dishes elegantly and serve beverages with precision, paying attention to detail and ensuring the highest standards of presentation.
- Anticipate guests' needs, refilling glasses, providing additional condiments, and promptly addressing any requests or concerns.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members, including bartenders, back servers, and management, to deliver a seamless dining experience.
- Process billing accurately and efficiently, handling cash and electronic transactions securely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your work area, including tables and service stations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fine dining etiquette, including table settings, wine service, and menu descriptions.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage and interact with guests professionally and courteously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, with the ability to convey information effectively and respond to guest needs.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
