This role is crucial for our front-of-house operations, serving as the primary point of contact for customers seeking parts, accessories, and service for their off-road vehicles. Key Responsibilities
-Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly and engage them to understand their needs for 4x4 parts, accessories, or basic automotive repair, and service work.
-Sales & Consulting: Utilize automotive knowledge to recommend appropriate products and services, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
-Service Writing: Document customer vehicle issues, translate their needs into clear work orders for the shop technicians, and provide accurate estimates.
-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the shop crew and management to ensure smooth workflow and clear communication regarding vehicle status and timelines.
-Administrative Tasks: Manage sales transactions, process payments, order and return parts, and maintain accurate customer records.
Required Qualifications & Skills
-Automotive Experience: Must have prior professional experience within the automotive industry (required).
-Automotive Interest: A genuine interest in cars, trucks, 4x4, or off-road vehicles is essential for success in this specialty shop environment.
-Sales/Service Skills: Previous experience in counter sales, customer service, or as a service writer is highly preferred.
-Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
