We are a small STEM preschool program with three classrooms. Our staff are warm, inviting and fun to be around. We strive to offer exceptional care. We are currently rated at a high level four-star rating with Colorado Shines (93 Points) for the second time in a row.
Looking for at least two-years experience working in a preschool or child care center classroom. Must have two early childhood development classes or willing to enroll and complete within six months of employment. Must be 21 years of age. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and willing to develop creative activities. We also use Mother Goose time curriculum. Must have a clean background check (it is the law when working with children).
We area Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math based preschool program. We are expanding our music and art programs as well. Looking for a well-rounded person that is able to be flexible with their schedule. Hours are 25-40 hours per week.
Eagle View Learning Center has a benefit package that includes 5 vacations days after full time employee's accumulate a year of service. Six paid holidays after the 90 day probation period. 50 % off tuition for the employees children attending. (Long term employees earn 15 days of paid time off at five years) We have accident and life insurance. $80 toward Appleton clinics if you need health care. When applying please submit a cover letter introducing yourself and your background working with children. Also include all experience hours with children under the age of 5. We will need a copy of your transcripts to verify that you have completed Early Childhood Education classes. Copies of past background checks because the new system is lagging behind. We will run new background checks but can start training sooner if you have copies within the last five years for TRAILS.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Minimum education: High School diploma and TWO EDEC classes completed. 2 years experience in managing and relating to small children in groups and individually. Hiring bonus of $250 for fully qualified kindergarten teachers that have at least two years of experience and are K-6 certified.
Must be able to work with children with different developments or behavior issues.
This classroom has two children with high behavior needs.
