The Production Supervisor coordinates day-to-day activities of production to ensure all plant operations and equipment are running safely and efficiently, in order to meet the plant’s Key Performance Indicators (KPI). This position requires a continuous desire to improve processes by implementing procedures, initiating Lean Manufacturing activities, and building a strong team.Essential duties and responsibilities:Manage production operations (safety, team schedules, production schedules, etc.) to meet plant’s Key Performance Indicators (KPI)Responsible for training, coaching and mentoring of each team member on shiftUtilization of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) softwareDevelop SOPs and JSAs with the team as neededMaintain a high degree of visibility, access, and open communication with all team membersApply Lean Manufacturing tools and best practices to drive continuous improvement projectsPrioritize important issues and collaborate with the Plant Manager on solutions related to internal workflows, processes, product quality and personnel
