Infectious Disease Physicians

JOB OPPORTUNITY: Infectious Disease Physicians Hartford HealthCare Medical Group, Inc. (“HHCMG”) seeks two full-time Infectious Disease Physicians to: provide Internal and Infectious Disease Medicine services (including assessment, treatment, case management activities and post-discharge care) to adult inpatients at St. Vincent’s Medical Center (“SVMC”) and at outpatient offices on SVMC campus; assist in education and training of support staff and in achieving compliance with applicable accreditation standards; participate in education and community benefit programs; document patient encounters in EMR and complete paperwork required for patient billing. Works at SVMC, 2800 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT 06606; and Primary Care Office, 2929 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT 06606. The minimum requirements for the Infectious Disease Physician position are: a U.S. M.D. or D.O. degree or its foreign equivalent; completion of three-year residency in Internal Medicine and a two-year fellowship in Infectious Disease Medicine; board eligibility or certification in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease Medicine; and possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Connecticut medical license.
