Presidio is hiring a Network Automation Engineer (Contract).
Hybrid set-up– 1 day per week in Hartford, CT
Responsibilities:
Support the automation of Presidio’s client’s network footprint.
Assist in network deployment, monitoring, help improve code and develop pipelines for automation.
Develop testing platforms, build reports and document processes.
Assist engineering teams with automation design and help drive the automation through all stages.
Guide teams on CI/CD, automaton tools and processes.
Work with vendors and partners to ensure that solutions are secure and meet company standards.
Skill Requirements:
Extensive Routing and Switching expertise with the ability to integration applications.
Strong knowledge on network protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, BGP, DHCP.)
Experience with network performance and management tools.
Recent experience using Automation tools (e.g. Ansible).
Experience with Server virtualization, containers such as VMware, Kubernetes.
Scripting and network programming experience with languages such as Python.
Utilize Python, OpenConfig, NAPALM, YAML, NETCONF, and Jinja templates to automate networking projects.
Ability to work on tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast – paced enterprise environment.
