Local Property Management Company seeks Maintenance Project Manager to join its team. Overall responsibilities include: managing repairs and general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and painting tasks for a small portfolio of communities. Must have a strong work ethic, good communication and take pride in work. Must also have the ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities:

Physically examine the Property(s) on a regular basis

Purchase supplies for the Property(s)

Manage repairs and maintenance, and ensure the proper care of the property

Maintain landscaping, utilities, roads, and other items that may be required

Maintain public areas in a clean and safe fashion

Troubleshoot any needs for the property

Supervise outside contractors working on the Property(s)

Adhere to all maintenance and purchasing directives including but not limited to (a) property inspections (b) maintenance assignments (c) landscaping and grounds (d) safety (e) special maintenance items

Qualifications:

GED or High School diploma or equivalency.

Requires a minimum of two (2) years general experience in building trades, plumbing (interior and exterior required), repair and replacement maintenance or handy work.

Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Be able to use email and company software system

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more following appropriate safety procedures

Work in different environmental working conditions (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain);

Walk and climb stairs, handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment; Reach with hands and arms

Communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word
