Press (KBA) Assistant 2 - Weekend Shift

Prepares the KBA sheetfed press for a run by verifying job specs and setting up the press accordinglyInspects the fountain solution, inks, and paper related to the job tickets by the feed section of pressEnsures that the paper is properly unwrapped and loaded onto plastic palletsMonitors the flow of paper throughout the run. Prepares new loads of paperWorks in conjunction with the press operators and other assigned Press Assistants in the preventative maintenance of the presses.Assists maintenance personnel in troubleshooting and making repairs to pressAssist with make-readiesAdheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policiesPerforms other related duties and participates in special projects as assignedPerform other duties as assignedJob requires ability to exert 20 to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 lbs. of force, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.Work overtime as required.Hours: 6am to 6pm Sunday, Friday, Saturday
