This newly created and key leadership role at the Cold Section Module Center will drive the product cost reduction efforts across the Module Center, in addition to the leadership, management and coordination of activities across Cold Section. This will include the NEO and NGPF programs, in addition to the F135 program. This role will be responsible for working very closely with cost leads across the Cold Section Module Center, the general manager, operations cost focals, the CIPT teams in engineering, and global supply chain. Job Summary – Developing the overall strategic plan to achieve the assigned aggressive cost targets Work with the operations, engineering, and global supply chain teams to effectively manage existing product cost reduction tasks and to define additional tasks required to achieve the cost targets Ensure data systems are accurate and reflect our current status and plans Host weekly and monthly data reviews to drive the entire organization to status and meet commitments Create presentations that outline strategic plans and provide a status to each of the plans that will likely be seen by P&W leadership Required Qualifications – Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance or Operations or related technical field. 10+ years of experience in project management/operations/process management.Preferred Qualifications – Working knowledge of P&W hardware and product cost database Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work with a diverse team to create strategic plans and drive proven execution to those plans Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with P&W senior leadership United Technologies Corporation is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.This position will report to Mike Vukovinsky, Executive Director Cold Section OpXAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status, age or any other federally protected class.
