Manufacturing Maintenance Technician – Starting at $29/hr

Location: North Haven, CT

Shifts Available:

2nd Shift: Mon–Fri, 3 PM–1:30 AM + every other weekend

Any thing over 40 hours is time and a half and sunday is double time

About the Role

A global leader in supply chain solutions is seeking a skilled and dependable Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team in North Haven, CT. This is a hands-on position working with mechanical and electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient facility operations. Key Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on facility machinery and equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Maintain and service 3-phase 180/320/480-volt equipment.

Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot air compressors and pneumatic tools.

Perform repairs or replacements on defective parts, assemblies, and system components.

Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections to identify potential failures or hazards.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Collaborate with production and maintenance staff to minimize downtime.

Accurately document maintenance work orders, parts usage, and repair details.

Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Hydraulic system experience – Required

Electrical experience with 3-phase 180/320/480V – Required

Air compressor maintenance experience – Required

Pneumatic tool troubleshooting/repair – Required

Electro-welding experience – Required

Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Welding or fabrication skills a plus.

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in an industrial environment.

2+ years of industrial, warehouse, or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
