New England Glass Co. has a need to fill a full-time position for a commercial door hardware installer. We are looking for an experienced door hardware person or the right person we can train who possesses problem solving skills, good mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail and is self-motivated to work with our team. Must be available to work Monday – Friday, 7AM to 3:30PM. Responsibilities will primarily include installing door hardware components, reading and comprehending installation instructions, precise layout of hardware components and using power tools to cut, drill and modify aluminum as a part of fabrication and hardware installation. You will also be assisting the fabrication department with various fabrication tasks.
Steel-toed boots, some basic hand tools and reliable transportation required, along with a good attitude, and the ability to do some heavy lifting (70+ lbs).
OSHA certification and construction experience a plus.
