Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate computer and related programs to provide support.
Process accounts payable invoices (Inventory/ Non-Inventory) on a timely basis, along with preparing invoices for payment.
Respond to vendor inquires in a timely manner.
Generate daily customer invoicing along with updating all related reports.
Respond to customer inquiries in an efficient manner.
Prepare and process cash receipts on the financial system and update all related reports.
Process Inventory transactions with appropriate approval as needed
Maintain general ledger and journals on computer to include monitoring accounts for discrepancies. This also includes month-end account reconciliations.
Assist with accounting department responsibilities (data entry, copying, collating, filing, organizing, etc.) as needed.
Provide back up support on the company phone system
Support Operations Team on Duty Drawback duties as required
Responsible for ordering all office related supplies (Paper goods, office supplies, etc.)

This role is for succession at the company, want to train this person over next 5 years to take over Accounting Team
Working directly with Accounting Manager, Controller, and the Opps Director
This position will be onsite based in the company’s New Milford, CT site location.
