Job Description SummaryThe location of this role is flexible based upon the most qualified talent. Schenectady, NY, Atlanta, GA, and Greenville, SC are preferred; EST/CST time zone remote or major GEV locations in Europe as alternatives.This role will serve as a strategic finance leader in GE Vernova HQ, covering Consulting Services, a business unit with GE Vernova HQ, and Supply Chain Development analytics. The Consulting Services organization supports business demand creation for GE Vernova businesses and provides tactical support for GE Vernova internal projects commercial projects. This leader will partner with the Consulting Services business leader and their team in leading a finance team to provide accurate and timely financials, transparent forecasting, commercial support, and strategic partnership. In addition, this role will support the Supply Chain Development leader in covering their NextGen supply chain projects, properties analytics, and financial governance for HQ-owned brownfield sites.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesOwn financial reporting & forecasting:The Strategic Finance leader will be responsible for driving rigor in budgeting, pacing, closing, and reporting for Consulting Services. This leader will be expected to lead a team of two individuals, and together will drive the financial processes to pace, plan, and report orders, revenue, and cost, ensuring accuracy in the final results. The finance leader and their team are expected to drive ledger-based reporting in order to link financial results with the underlying business structure, providing meaningful insights into financial performance at various levels of the organization.This leader will also be expected to enhance the FP&A capabilities and analytics in around actuals and forecasting.The Strategic Finance leader will also be responsible for partnering with the Supply Chain Development leader to support NextGen supply chain analytics, including project tracking (status, savings, prioritization), support regular voice of customer refreshes to roll-up and identify potential projects, and own financial modelling for HQ and certain other projects This leader will also drive strategic analysis, data coordination and organization, and analytics to evaluate GE Vernova HQ properties. Finally, this leader will support the Supply Chain development team with ad hoc financial analysis and support for HQ brownfields, including reserve maintenance and coordination with EHS and controllership.Long range strategic support:This individual will partner with their business partners to set and drive long range objectives and will be expected to coordinate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with the organizations’ strategy. This includes participating in strategy sessions, providing financial insight and recommendation, and modelling financial forecasts. The finance leader will be responsible for developing and owning these financial forecasts and use them to provide insights and also serve as a challenge function when reviewing business decisions.Periodically, the finance leader will collaborate with their business partners to identify strategic imperatives and investment needs, conducting thorough analysis to support decision-making and resource allocation.Consulting Services Commercial/Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy:The Strategic Finance leader will be responsible for baselining the commercial finance governance structure and providing recommendations for change and implementing those changes once agreed with leadership. Over the course of the sales cycle, the finance leader will provide deal structuring support, feedback on commercial terms, profitability analytics, and overall will serve to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.Required Qualifications

For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Finance & Functional Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

The base pay range for this position is $147,400.00 - 196,500.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% bonus.
